Our wonderful experience at La Pozza sets the standard for all Vacation in Tuscany. The gated villa is well appointed with a large kitchen and homey indoor and outdoor spaces. There were 10 of us in our party, and the lovely bedrooms and ensuite baths were very quiet and private. The housekeeper, Donika , was friendly and an excellent ambassador for Tuscany. We opted to have Donika prepare a dinner which we highly recommend. The locally sourced chicken, vegetables, etc. were all hand made and delicious. Just like our Grandmother used to make. The town has 3 restaurants, a winery & olive oil press, and a local honey shop! If you aren't staying in Volpaia, it's a short drive from Radda and well worth stopping for a wine tasting or a great meal with Paola at Bar Ucci. We look forward to returning to La Pozza and Tuscany!

We held a family reunion with 8 adults and 2 children in this town in Chianti that was everything one would hope for a memorable Italian vacation. The Villa is a lovely country house, very private but steps away from the center of the lovely hamlet of Volpaia. There are 3 excellent restaurants within a very short walking distance from the villa. The town centers around organic wine making and produces some of the most delicious chianti in the area. Our Villa came with daily housekeeping services provided by one of the best features of our stay, Donnika. She helped us with many aspects of our stay and made recommendations for some easy day trips in the area. We exercised the option of hiring her to cook and had one of our most memorable and delicious meals of the trip. From the zucchini squash blossoms, roast chicken, her chocolate tort, The Chianti then add one of the most beautiful views of the region, we felt lucky to have selected this location for our family.
