We had the most wonderful 9 days in the Villa Carolina, and the whole family would like to thank the owner family Carolina, Adolfo and Elisa for making us feel so welcome! The house was beautiful and even more impressive than the photos. There was more than enough space for the 7 of us. We really enjoyed the cosy kitchen, the outside patio and the pool area, that we used a lot. All the rooms was very nicely decorated and very clean, we couldn't ask for a better house for our family vacation. The house was easy to find and was close to one restaurant (la legge), that was within walking distance. It's not that far to drive to Montecarlo or Porcari, where you can shop, or go to many good restaurants. We also had Lido, the chef, to cook for us one night at home. He and his wife made us the most wonderful meal, and we regretted not having more dinners at home with Lido. It was a bit difficult to get a taxi for going in to Lucca or other cities around, but Elisa and her parents helped us more than we could ask for, and we had no trouble getting around. We recived amazing service from them all, and we can really recommend this house to anyone.
